Gary is a muti-instrumentalist that plays bass with the rebels. Born in Hampton, VA Gary grew up in a very musical family. In Gary's late childhood and early teen years, he began playing semi professionally playing drums three - four nights per week. As a drummer he primarly played top 40 country and rock along with other genres of music. It wasn't until the later 1970's that Gary fell in love with Bluegrass music. Gary plays with the Pinehill Ramblers and BlueFaith Bluegrass Gospel Band on Mandolin and Banjo, Respectively. Gary loves his bluegrass and we love having Gary keep the foundation for us.
